From October 15th to 20th, Vice President Hu Zhengyue of the China Public Diplomacy Association led a delegation to visit Romania.
During the visit, the delegation attended the Bucharest Forum in Romania.Professor Jin Canrong delivered a keynote speech on "Trade War, Conflict and Global Governance", delivering Chinese voice and claiming Chinese propositions. He also made great effort to respond to the concerns of all parties and expressed views on current major international issues, which was widely welcomed and caused a strong reaction.
The delegation visited official and research institutions,such as the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs、Academy of Sciences and Tituslescu European Foundation. The delegation also met with important people and experts from all walks of life, such as the former Romanian Prime Minister Nastase、the former Foreign Minister and the Honorary President of the New Strategic Center Cherak、Special Representative for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Isticioaia and the Chairman of the European Venture Foundation Liviu Muresan. They conducted extensive and in-depth discussion on the major development trend and trend of current international relations,particularly on the topic of China-US trade relations、Britain exiting from the EU、the development prospects of EU、“the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road” and “17+1 cooperation”.
