China Public Diplomacy Association received the visiting delegation of Japanese government officials

  Invited by Chinese Embassy in Japan, China Public Diplomacy Association received a delegation of Japanese government officials from Japanese Personnel Institute from October 14th to 21st. The delegation consisted of 16 people from 13 departments including Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Justice. Mr.Suzuki Ryotaro, deputy director of the Japan Personnel Institute, was the head of the delegation. The delegation visited Beijing and Wuhan during the visit to China and the whole process was accompanied by Li Wenliang, member of CPDA and former Consul General in Nagasaki.

  During their stay in Beijing, Vice President Liu Biwei of CPDA met with the delegation and they conducted a discussion on the topic of exchanges between China and Japan in areas such as public diplomacy.The delegation made an official visit to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, State Intellectual Property Office and other departments, exchanging views on China-Japanese relations, China-US trade frictions and China's intellectual property protection. The delegation also visited Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C. and Japanese Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences officially,discussing about civil service training and exchanges of society, economy and culture between China and Japan. The delegation also payed a visit to CCTV, Daxing Airport and kindergartens.

  During the visit in Hubei province, the delegation visited Three Gorges Dam,rural agriculture project and had a discussion with teachers and students from Wuhan University, having a preliminary understanding of the current social and economic development in Central and Western China and China's efforts to protect the environment.
